Hypochlorous acid is what your white blood cells produce to destroy pathogens. We manufacture it as a stabilised concentrate, purer, stronger and more economical than anything that ships ready-to-use.
Hypochlorous acid (HOCl) is the active species your neutrophils generate during the immune response, nature's own broad-spectrum biocide. It is fast, non-selective against bacteria, viruses, fungi and spores, and yet remarkably gentle on tissue, surfaces and equipment.
The challenge has always been stability. HOCl is most potent within a narrow pH window and degrades quickly when made poorly or stored incorrectly. Most products on the market sidestep this by shipping it weak, 200–500 ppm, mostly water, with a few weeks of shelf-life.
We took the opposite approach: manufacture it correctly, stabilise it, and ship it concentrated at 32,000 ppm free available chlorine, so you control the dilution, the freight and the cost.
Concentration is leverage. A higher free-chlorine payload means less water shipped, fewer deliveries, longer shelf-life, and a single SKU that scales across every application in your facility. Here is how the 32,000 ppm concentrate compares to the alternatives.
| Property | Hyporix concentrate | On-site generators | Ready-to-use HOCl | Sodium hypochlorite (bleach) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free available chlorine | 32,000 ppm | ~500 ppm | ~200 ppm | 50,000+ ppm |
| pH | 5.5–6.5 (optimal) | 6–7 | 5–7 | 11–13 (caustic) |
| % active HOCl | >99% | ~80% | varies | <1% (mostly OCl⁻) |
| Shelf-life | Up to 12 months | Make-to-use | Weeks | Months (degrades) |
| Freight efficiency | Excellent | N/A | Poor (water) | Moderate |
| Skin / surface safety | Non-irritant | Non-irritant | Non-irritant | Corrosive |
| Breakdown product | Salt water | Salt water | Salt water | Chlorinated by-products |
You dilute on demand against our validated dilution maps, no need to stock multiple products. A few representative targets:
At pH 5.5–6.5, over 99% of the chlorine exists as active HOCl rather than the far weaker hypochlorite ion. Bleach sits at pH 11–13, where almost none of it is the active molecule.
An oxidation-reduction potential of ≥750 mV confirms a high concentration of active oxidant. Every batch is assayed and shipped with a Certificate of Analysis.
Correct manufacture and packaging extend shelf-life to 12 months, so a concentrate this strong stays this strong from our line to your dosing point.
